19 Popsicle Stick Crafts Ideas for Everyone
1. Popsicle stick snowflakes
This is a great craft for wintertime! To make these snowflakes, you’ll need 9 popsicle sticks, white paint, a paintbrush, wire cutters, and a glue gun.
Start by painting the popsicle sticks white and let them dry. We used actual leftover popsicle sticks and they worked great and were a nice upcycling craft. I had some white spray paint and tried that, but it took a while to dry. However, the popsicle stick came out streak free!
Next, I used a wire cutter to cut three popsicle sticks in thirds to add some character to the snowflake. This did leave some rough edges I had to touch up with some white paint.
Then, use the glue gun to attach the sticks together in a six-point star shape.
I also attached a pipe cleaner to the back in order to hang the snowflake.
